Besides planned posts, you can add a post to a Facebook Page by hand — text alone, a photo, a video, a reel or a story — and edit or delete what is already on the Page.
- Open Social Autopilot › Plan and find your Page under Meta, in Facebook Pages.
- Press New post on its row, then choose Post, Reel or Story.
- Write the text (up to 5,000 characters; a story has none) and, if you like, pick a photo or video from your library. A reel or story video is checked against Facebook’s limits before anything is uploaded.
- Leave When empty to post as soon as you approve it, or set a date and time.
- Press Add to queue. The post appears under Today as needing approval; press Approve or Publish now.
Edit or delete a Page post
- On the Page’s row, press Published posts — or open the post in Comments and press •••, on the web or in the app.
- Press Edit text to change a post’s words, or Delete to remove it from Facebook. Deleting can’t be undone.
Good to know
- Facebook reels: vertical 9:16, 3–90 seconds, at least 540×960. Stories: 9:16, 3–60 seconds.
- A link in the text gets its own preview on Facebook.
- Facebook lets a Page edit or delete its own posts, but not hide them.
- Page activity on the same row lists everything Facebook sends for the Page, newest first.
- Only Pages connected with posting turned on appear here. If the Page’s Posting cell in Channels › Connected reads 1 step, press Give permission there first.
