The MirageCHAT app draws its own notifications, which is how they carry Reply, Close and Pending. For that, Android must allow the app to wake up in the background.
- Check that notifications are allowed for MirageCHAT, including its Messages category.
- Set MirageCHAT’s battery use to Unrestricted (on some phones it’s called “Don’t optimise”, or you take MirageCHAT out of the list of sleeping apps). You’ll find it in the phone’s settings for the app, under Battery; the names differ by phone maker.
- Don’t force-stop the app. A force-stopped app receives nothing until you open it again; that is Android’s rule.
- After changing a setting, open MirageCHAT once.
- Make sure you are signed in, that your Mobile access is on, and — for agents — that the account the client wrote to is shared with you.
Good to know
- Power-saving modes can delay or hold back notifications from apps that are restricted. Unrestricted keeps them on time.
- A locked conversation’s notification arrives without its text and without buttons.
