Customers can now call your WhatsApp number. MirageCHAT rings, on any page, in the browser of everyone who can open that chat. Answer takes the call — the first to answer gets it — and Decline ends it.
- Turn calls on per number: in Channels › Connected, press Calls on the WhatsApp number, switch on Customers can call this number, choose Calling hours, Ask to call back and Who hears the ring, then Save.
- During a call a bar shows Mute, Chat and End, a list to switch microphone, and how loud You and Customer are. If your microphone sends nothing for 5 seconds, it says so.
- To call a customer, press Call in a WhatsApp conversation. WhatsApp asks the customer first: Ask … to allow calls, or Send a call button they tap to call you.
- Calls, in the menu under Inbox, lists every call with All, Missed, Incoming and Outgoing, and Call back on a missed one. Owners, admins and managers see it.
- Available for calls, at the bottom of the menu, decides whether this browser rings.
WhatsApp calls are in the Growth and Pro packages. The number must be connected to MirageCHAT only, not also used in the WhatsApp Business app, with a daily limit of 2,000. Calls from customers are free; calls you make are billed by WhatsApp per minute to the WhatsApp account’s payment method.
