Plan a batch turns several videos into separate posts — each video its own Reel — spread over the days and times you choose. Each one goes out by itself at its time, with no approval step.
- Open Social Studio and press Plan a batch at the top. Or, in a new Instant Post, pick two or more videos and choose Spread over days instead of All at the same time.
- Pick the videos — videos only, up to 100. Photos are greyed out in a batch.
- Pick the accounts. Each video goes out as a Reel on Instagram and Facebook (a Facebook video post where a Reel isn’t possible), a TikTok video and a YouTube Short or video. Stories and photo posts are off in a batch.
- Write the caption once, as for one post. YouTube’s choices — Who can see it, Made for kids?, AI content and Notify subscribers — apply to every YouTube video in the plan.
- On Check and post, under Spread out, set the Start day, the Time zone, the Times of the day and Posts a day, counting what is already planned. The times start as 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 20:00: type another as HH:MM and press Add, or remove one with ×.
- Read the plan: a line such as “10 videos · 20 publications · Facebook 10 · TikTok 10”, then one line per day, for example “6 Oct — 6 planned · target 8 → adds 2”.
- The table lists each video with its Date, its Time and a caption for each platform — change any of them for one video. With YouTube, give every video its YouTube title; Add to playlists under it chooses that video’s playlists.
- Press Plan N publications. You see, for example, “Scheduled · 10 posts from 6 Oct to 8 Oct”; Open in Your posts shows them under Scheduled.
Good to know
- Posts a day counts what the busiest selected account already has planned that day: with 6 planned and a target of 8, the day adds 2. A day that is full says “already 8 planned”.
- The plan never puts two posts on one account at the same minute, gives an Instagram account at most 6 posts in an hour and a TikTok account at most 15 a day, and starts at least five minutes from now.
- Up to 12 times a day, 1 to 24 posts a day, up to a year ahead. Videos that don’t fit are named, with what to change: add times, raise Posts a day, or plan fewer videos.
- On Free, which includes 30 posts a month, a plan bigger than what is left is stopped before anything is sent, with Open Billing.
- Each video becomes its own post in Your posts, so you can change the time of one, post it now or cancel it there.
- If a time passes while you look the plan over, it is made again and you are asked to press once more.
- In the phone app: Menu › Social Studio, then Plan a batch at the top.
