Instant Post can set what Instagram lets apps set on a post: people, collaborators, a location and alt text on photos, and a group of options on reels.
On a photo or carousel
- Pick photos on the Post card. With an Instagram account connected, Post options appears under the card.
- Tag people: public Instagram accounts; in a carousel they are tagged on the first photo.
- Collaborators: up to 3 public accounts; they accept the invitation in Instagram.
- Location: adds the location of the account’s own Facebook Page.
- Alt text: describe each photo for people who use a screen reader.
On a reel — Reel options, under the Reel card
- Cover: Instagram picks, one of the reel’s photos, or a frame.
- Also on the profile grid, Location, Tag people and Collaborators.
- Trial reel: shown to non-followers first; Instagram shares it with your followers if it does well.
- Made with AI and Paid partnership labels.
- Comments: switch off to close comments as soon as the post is out.
Good to know
- Each option shows which channels take it; a grey channel ignores it.
- If Instagram refuses an option, the post still goes out without it, and its row says so.
- Each Instagram row under Where shows how many posts the account has left today, as Instagram counts them.
