Spam under a post — fake giveaways, “free followers”, strange links — can be hidden the moment it arrives, on Instagram, Facebook Pages and TikTok.
- Open Automation and press New automation.
- Under When? choose Someone comments on a post.
- Type the words spam uses, separated by commas: “free followers, giveaway, scam”.
- Remove the suggested steps with ✕ and add + Hide.
- Keep Any post, choose the accounts under Where should it run?, and press Save automation.
Or draw it: press Visual, then Hide spam comments under Start from. It listens for “scam, spam, fake”; change the words to yours.
Good to know
- A hidden comment disappears for everyone else. The person who wrote it still sees it.
- An automation that only hides runs on every matching comment, even the same person’s second one.
- Choose words your real customers don’t use — “price” would hide your best questions.
- Up to 20 words, each up to 40 characters.
