Instant Post on the phone goes in six steps. The line at the top says where you are — for example Step 3 of 6 · What goes out — and under every step are ‹ Back and Next · followed by the name of the next step.
- Photos or video — tap + › Instant Post, or Menu › Instant Post › Start a post. Tap Library (what is already in MirageCHAT) or From your phone (your camera roll). Photos and videos together are fine. Only words? Tap Text only · Facebook › — a text post goes to Facebook Pages.
- Accounts — one card per platform. Tap Select all (or Clear) on a platform, tick accounts one by one, pick a saved group, or use Search accounts. New group saves the accounts you post to together.
- What goes out — for each platform, choose how the photos go out together — Carousel post or Photo post on Instagram, Album post on Facebook, Photo post on TikTok, Stories, a reel made from them (Reel from photos, Video from photos on TikTok, Short from photos on YouTube) or Don't post — and how each video goes: Reel, Video post (Facebook), Story, TikTok video, Short or video, or Don't post. While a line is a Reel, its options sit right under it: Reel options · Instagram (Also on your profile grid, Place, Comments, and Cover, people and more ›) and Reel options · Facebook (Place). What goes where explains each platform’s rules.
- Music — one tab per platform, because each app has its own music and its own licence. Instagram adds music to Reels only (Make the photos a Reel if you want a song), and TikTok has its own sounds. Facebook and YouTube take no music from apps: their videos keep their own sound. When one reel goes out, Facebook’s tab offers Add your own audio › — your file is mixed into the reel, so it plays on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Remove your audio takes it out.
- Text and place — write the Caption once, with Emoji and Mention; Different caption per account gives an account its own words, and Hashtags adds each account’s saved hashtags. Under Place and people: Instagram’s Post options for a photo or carousel (people, collaborators, location, alt text); TikTok’s Who can see this on TikTok, Allow comments (off until you tick it) and More TikTok options (Allow Duet, Allow Stitch, Disclose commercial content); and YouTube’s Title, Who can see it and Made for kids?.
- Check and post — the Preview, a summary of what each account gets, and When: Now, or Later with a day and a time at least 5 minutes ahead. Tap ⚡ Post now · N posts — or the Schedule button, which shows the day and time.
Good to know
- If something is missing, the reason appears under Next, and ⚡ Post now says which step to go back to.
- A post goes out right away with no approval step, and you can leave the screen while it does; owners and admins get a notification when it is live. Recent reopens what you sent, and New Instant Post starts again with the same photos.
- If a platform refuses one account, its line shows the reason and Retry; the others keep going.
- A video Facebook won’t take as a Reel (not vertical, or too long) starts as a Video post.
- An Instagram carousel takes up to 10 photos and videos; a Facebook album up to 80.
- On TikTok and YouTube nothing is pre-chosen for who can see it — you choose.
- There is no camera in Instant Post: take the photo first, then add it with From your phone.
- Leaving with changes asks Leave without posting? first.
- Agents see Instant Post only if an owner or admin turned it on for them.
- A phone that has not opened the app since 1 October 2026 gets these steps the next time it opens.
