The icons under the reply box send more than text. Hover over any icon to see its name.
- Image picks a photo from your computer; Attach picks any file. The file appears above the box. Add a caption if you like and press send — a file with no text sends too.
- Voice: press the microphone, allow the browser to use it, and speak. Press it again to stop; the recording is attached, ready to send.
- Share location sends your current location as the browser reports it, straight away. The browser asks for permission the first time.
- Emoji opens a small set of the most used emoji. Click one to add it to your text.
- Changed your mind? Press × next to the attached file’s name before sending.
Good to know
- MirageCHAT accepts files up to 25 MB. Each platform may set its own lower limits.
- Share location sends where you are, not a place you choose. For a shop or clinic address, type it or paste a map link.
- Instagram accepts at most 1,000 characters in one message; the counter under the box shows how many you have typed.
- A photo or video appears in the conversation at once, with a clock, until the platform confirms it.
