Each platform licenses music its own way, so Instant Post has one sound row per channel. Instagram’s music plays only on Instagram, TikTok’s only on TikTok, and Facebook takes no music from apps. Your own audio is mixed into the video, so it plays everywhere.
- In Social Autopilot › Instant Post, keep the Reel card on and pick its video or photos. The ♫ Sound · one per channel panel appears under it.
- For Instagram, press ♪ Add music. In Music for the Reel, browse Trending, For you, Rising, New this week, Saved, Recently used or Original audio, or search. Press ▶ to listen and Use to pick.
- For your own track, press ♫ Import in the same window, choose the file and tick I own this audio or have the rights to use it.
- For TikTok, press Choose on the TikTok row and pick from TikTok’s Commercial Music Library. Set Song volume, Video's sound and Starts at.
- The Facebook row shows what Facebook will play: the video’s own sound, or your imported audio.
Example: Northside Gym puts a trending Instagram track on Instagram, a TikTok sound on TikTok, and its Facebook Page plays the workout video’s own sound.
Good to know
- A TikTok sound needs TikTok Business on that account: in Channels, press Turn on on its TikTok card. A TikTok sound posts to Everyone only.
- If the TikTok picker says it is waiting for TikTok, TikTok sounds aren’t available yet — your own audio still works.
- If TikTok refuses the sound for an account, the video goes out without it, with a note saying so.
- Pick an Instagram song and Instant Post adds the same song for TikTok when TikTok has it (marked “same song”).
- With the Reel switched off, the TikTok sound row sits in the TikTok box instead.
- Instagram’s music is for business accounts connected through their Facebook Page.
