In Instant Post, hashtags live in groups. A group usually holds one brand’s accounts — its Instagram, its Facebook Page and its TikTok — and every linked account gets the group’s hashtags at the end of its caption.
- In Social Autopilot › Instant Post, press Hashtags (the # button at the top of the window). The Hashtags panel opens on the right.
- Press Edit groups, then New group. Click the name “New group” and type your own, for example “Harbour Car Rental”.
- Press + Link Instagram · Facebook · TikTok and pick an account for each platform. An account belongs to one group only; linking it moves it from its old group.
- Press Add hashtags, type a hashtag and press Enter. Every change is saved at once — you’ll see Saved.
- Press Done.
Each account in a group shows Linked or Own. Press it to switch: Own gives that account its own hashtags instead of the group’s.
While you post
- Under Where, # n on each account row shows how many hashtags go with it. Press it to see them and where they come from; Edit in Hashtags › opens the panel.
- To leave a group’s hashtags off one post, untick the box beside them in the panel — for this post only.
- # Custom, under the caption, adds hashtags to this post only, on every selected account. They are not saved.
- Group channels by name (in Edit groups) puts accounts that share a name into one group each.
Good to know
- Instagram keeps the first 30 hashtags; TikTok counts them within its 2,200-character caption; stories get none.
- Each account’s Preview tab shows its final caption with the hashtags added.
