Want TikTok’s own sounds, effects or text on a video? Send it to the TikTok app as a draft instead of posting it directly, and finish it there.
- In Social Autopilot › Instant Post, pick the video on the Post or Reel card and tick your TikTok account under Where.
- Under the Post now button, press or send as a draft to add music in TikTok ›. The Send to TikTok inbox card opens.
- Press the send button — it names what goes and where, for example “Send 1 video to” your account. With several TikTok accounts ticked, it sends to each.
- Follow the steps on the card: Sent · In TikTok inbox · Posted. You can close the window — we keep checking.
- In the TikTok app, open the draft’s notification in your Inbox, under System notifications. Add music or effects, write the caption, choose who can see it and post.
When it is posted the card shows Posted, and Open on TikTok once the post is public. Earlier drafts stay under Recent drafts.
Good to know
- The draft button sends only the draft. If TikTok is still ticked when you press Post now, TikTok also gets a direct post — untick it first if you only want the draft.
- A video draft carries no caption; write it in TikTok.
- A draft is one video or up to 35 photos, not both.
- TikTok allows 5 drafts waiting in the inbox in 24 hours. Post or delete waiting ones in TikTok to send more.
- Owners and admins with the phone app get a notification when the draft arrives and when it is public.
- You can send drafts to the TikTok accounts you are allowed to post to, while signed in to MirageCHAT.
