Press and hold or swipe a message to act on it, and use the magnifier to search the whole conversation.
- Quote: swipe a message to the right. A Replying to … bar appears above the reply box. Type and send, or tap ✕ to drop the quote.
- Forward: press and hold a message and tap Forward to another chat. Pick the conversation in Forward to… (you can use Search conversations…). The text lands in that conversation’s reply box under Forwarded from …; check it and send.
- Copy: press and hold a message and tap Copy text.
- Search: tap the magnifier at the top, type in Search in this conversation… and tap a result to jump to it. Done closes the search.
- Older messages: scroll up and tap Load older messages.
- Translate: tap Translate under a client’s message. It is translated into your phone’s language. Show original and Show translation switch between the two.
Good to know
- Forwarding copies only the text of the message.
- Translate appears only if your account may use AI.
- Tap the conversation number next to the name (for example #4611) to copy it, so you can point a colleague to it.
- Tap the photo or name at the top for contact details. When the client has a number, you get Copy, Call and WhatsApp.
