You can answer a client without opening the app. The buttons differ a little between Android and iPhone.
On Android:
- Expand the notification. You see Reply, Close and Pending.
- Tap Reply, type in Reply… and send. The notification quietly updates to show your reply with a ✓.
- Close or Pending changes the conversation’s status and removes the notification.
On iPhone:
- Press and hold the notification. You see Reply, Close, Pending and Mark read.
- Tap Reply, type in Type a reply… and tap Send. The app doesn’t open.
- Close and Pending work without opening the app. Mark read opens the app to mark the conversation read.
Good to know
- Tap the notification itself to open that conversation.
- On Android, several messages from the same client stay together in one notification.
- A locked conversation’s notification shows no message text and has no buttons.
- No connection? On Android the reply goes out automatically as soon as you are online again. On iPhone it waits until you next open MirageCHAT.
