App lock asks for your face, your fingerprint or a 4-digit PIN every time MirageCHAT starts on this phone.
- Open Menu › Settings and scroll to Security.
- Switch on Fingerprint / Face and confirm with your face or finger. The switch is greyed out, with No fingerprint set up on this phone, if the phone has none set up.
- To use a PIN as well (or instead), switch on PIN code, type four digits at Enter a new PIN, then type them again at Re-enter to confirm.
- To change the PIN, tap Change PIN. To stop locking, switch both off.
Good to know
- The app locks when it starts fresh, not every time you come back from another app, so opening a photo or a file doesn’t ask again.
- With both switched on, the PIN screen also offers your face or finger.
- App lock lives on this phone only. It is separate from your password and from the 6-digit Lock PIN that opens locked conversations.
- A wrong PIN shows Wrong PIN, try again.
