With one key, your own software does what Account › Reseller does, and works inside any of your client workspaces. The full reference is at miragechat.io/developers/reseller.
Make your keys
- Open Reseller › Settings. Under Use the API, press Create reseller key.
- Copy the key — it is shown once — then press I saved it — hide it.
- To post, tick «Posts sent with this key are published on the selected accounts in my name.» and press Create publishing key. It is made in your name.
- Your keys lists both by their first characters. Revoke stops one at once.
What each key does
- The reseller key creates, lists, renames and closes client workspaces, makes and stops connect links, adds and changes their people, sets your name and logo, and reads your balance, statement and paid channels — at
/api/ext/v1/reseller/. - Send the header X-Workspace-Id with a client workspace’s id, and the same key works inside that workspace: messages, conversations, customers, webhooks and the workspace tools. Each id is shown under the workspace’s name as Workspace ID.
- The publishing key posts to the Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts of the client workspace X-Workspace-Id names, accounts connected later included. It reads no conversations, and the reseller key never posts.
One webhook for every client
- Under Webhook for all your client workspaces, enter an https:// address and press Add webhook.
- Copy the Webhook signing secret — shown once. Every delivery is signed with X-Mirage-Signature.
It receives new and sent messages, new and closed conversations, and channels connected and disconnected, from every client workspace, each with its workspace_id. Delete under Your webhooks stops it.
Good to know
- About 300 requests a minute per key and client workspace, and 3,000 a minute for a key in all. The publishing key: 60 a minute.
- While your account is paused, whatever adds to your workspaces is refused with 402 on_hold. Reading, closing a workspace, stopping links and switching people off still work.
- YouTube is never available through the API — no YouTube conversations, customers, numbers or posts — because YouTube’s rules for apps do not allow it. Post to YouTube from Instant Post.
- Client workspaces have no AI, so the AI reply endpoint is refused there.
- A connect link made by API lasts 1 to 168 hours — 24 when you send none.
