Instagram connects in Instagram’s own window. The account must be a professional account — Business or Creator. Instagram doesn’t open a personal account’s messages to other apps; switching is free, in the Instagram app’s account settings.
- Open Channels › Connected and press Instagram. Instagram’s window opens.
- Log in with the account you want to connect.
- Instagram lists what MirageCHAT will be able to do. Allow it.
- Back in MirageCHAT you’ll see Instagram account connected! The account becomes a card under Channels, with three cells: Inbox, Posting and Insights.
- Test it: send the account a message from another Instagram account. It lands in the Inbox within seconds.
- Optional, from the card’s ••• menu: Import old chats brings in earlier conversations; Welcome & menu adds ready-made questions and a menu.
