Connect a Google, Apple or Facebook account and you can sign in with it instead of typing a password. Your email address and your workspace do not change.
On the web (owners and admins)
- Open Workspace › Profile.
- Scroll to Ways you sign in.
- Press Connect next to Google, Apple or Facebook and sign in with that provider.
- Back in MirageCHAT, the row says Connected as and the account’s email.
In the phone app (everyone)
- Open Menu › Settings.
- Under Security, open Connected accounts and connect the provider.
Disconnect
- Press Disconnect on the row. If that would leave you with no way to sign in, MirageCHAT refuses and says why.
Good to know
- Only the providers your workspace offers are listed.
- Facebook signs you in only once it is connected here. Google and Apple also sign you in when their email matches your MirageCHAT email.
- «This account has no password — a connected account is how you get in» means you signed up with a provider. Keep at least one way in connected.
- An account already connected to someone else cannot be connected to yours.
