Templates are the messages WhatsApp lets you send first, or after 24 hours. You write them in MirageCHAT; Meta reviews them.
- Open Channels › Message Templates and choose your number under WhatsApp account.
- Press New template. Or press Browse library for a ready-made template already approved for its category: name it and press Use this template.
- Choose the Account and type a Template name — only you see it; lowercase letters, numbers and underscores.
- Pick the Category: Utility — bookings, confirmations, updates, reminders; Marketing — offers, announcements; Authentication — one-time codes only.
- Optional Header: None or Image (JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB).
- Write the Body, up to 1,024 characters. For anything that changes per customer, press a field above the box — Customer name, Date, Time, Amount, Reference number, Location or product, Link… — and give each a realistic example.
- Optional: buttons (Add button › URL button or Quick reply) and a Footer (optional). Check the Live preview.
- Press Save & submit, or Save draft to finish later.
Good to know
- The status chips are Approved, In Review, Rejected, Paused, Disabled and Draft. A rejected template shows the reason: edit it and submit again.
- A field can’t start or end the body, and two fields can’t sit side by side.
- Up to 2 link buttons or 3 quick-reply buttons.
- An approved template can be edited once a day and ten times in 30 days, and is reviewed again.
- Refresh also reads templates made in WhatsApp Manager. Send test sends an approved template to a number you choose.
- Example for a car rental: “Your car is ready — collect it at Location or product on Date.”
