A Facebook Page connects through Facebook’s own dialog. For each Page you choose whether its Messenger conversations come to the Inbox, and whether Social Autopilot may post to it. You need the Facebook profile that manages the Page.
- Open Channels › Connected and press Facebook Page. Log in to Facebook’s dialog and allow what MirageCHAT asks for.
- Choose what to connect lists the Pages you manage. Tick the box in the Messenger column (it reads Inbox) to bring a Page’s conversations to the Inbox, and the box in the Posting column (Autopilot) to publish to it. Select all · both ticks everything.
- Press Connect this Page (or Connect N Pages).
- Facebook Pages connected lists each Page with Messenger and/or Posting. Press Done. Each Page becomes a card under Channels, and recent conversations import in the background where Messenger is on.
Good to know
- A box you can’t tick means Facebook didn’t give your profile that role on the Page: Messaging for Messenger, Content for Posting. Ask the Page’s admin, then connect again.
- “Facebook shared no Page with us” — connect again, choose Edit settings in the Facebook window and tick your Page, or sign in with the profile that manages it.
- To change the choice later: ••• › What is connected…. A Page with Messenger off stops receiving messages.
- Messenger allows a free reply within 24 hours of the customer’s last message.
- Comments on the Page’s posts arrive in Comments, where you reply, like, hide or answer privately.
- The Page’s card says what works, cell by cell: Inbox, Posting, Comments and Insights. A cell that reads 1 step has a Give permission button: in Facebook’s window press Edit settings — not «Continue» — and keep every Page ticked.
- Pages with Posting only appear in Social Autopilot, not in the Inbox. Full guide: miragechat.io/help/connect-facebook-page/
