In short
Turn calls on for a WhatsApp number and customers can call you from WhatsApp — the call button in their chat with you, a button you send, or a link. MirageCHAT rings for everyone who can open that conversation, on any page; the first to press Answer takes it and talks through the computer. To call a customer, ask them to allow calls in one tap, then call. Every call is a line in the conversation, and Inbox › Calls lists them all with today’s numbers.
Works on
What it includes
- The ring on every page of MirageCHAT, with the customer’s name, the number they called and where the call came from
- Answer or Decline — the first to answer takes the call, and the card closes for everyone else
- Talk through the browser: Mute, the conversation beside the call, End
- Choose the microphone in the middle of a call; both voices measured, and «No sound from your microphone» when yours sends nothing
- Call a customer who allows it: ask in one tap — WhatsApp’s Allow and Don’t allow — then call
- Send a call button: the customer taps it and the call rings in MirageCHAT
- Calling hours, days off, «Ask to call back» and the call button in WhatsApp — set per number
- Who hears the ring: everyone who can open the chat, or the assigned agent first
- Every call in the conversation — answered with its length and who took it, missed or declined
- Inbox › Calls: today’s calls, answered, missed and the average call, with All, Missed, Incoming and Outgoing
- On the phone app: the ring as a banner with «Answer on the web», and Menu › Calls

Questions
Do my customers pay to call?
No. A WhatsApp call costs the customer nothing, and calls from customers are free for you too.
What do calls I make cost?
WhatsApp bills them per minute to the payment method of your WhatsApp account at Meta — never on your MirageCHAT invoice.
Which numbers can take calls?
A WhatsApp number connected to MirageCHAT only — not also used in the WhatsApp Business app — with a daily limit of 2,000 customers. Calls settings show what is missing.
Can we call any customer?
Only one who allows it. Ask in one tap from the conversation: WhatsApp allows one request a day and two a week. Numbers from the United States and Canada can’t call customers — customers can still call them.
Do we need a phone or headset?
No — a computer with a microphone and speakers, and MirageCHAT open in the browser. A headset sounds better.
Which packages have calls?
Growth and Pro.
