In short
When a customer calls a WhatsApp number with calls turned on, MirageCHAT rings in the browser of everyone who can open that conversation — on any page. The first to press Answer takes the call, and you talk through your computer. Every call is written into the conversation and listed in Inbox › Calls.
When a call comes in
The ring
A card appears at the top right with the customer’s name, the number they called and where the call came from (for example «From the call button you sent»), and the browser rings.
Answer
Press Answer. The first time, your browser asks to use the microphone — allow it for MirageCHAT.
Or decline
Press Decline: the call ends for the customer, and the conversation shows it as declined.
During the call
A bar at the bottom of every page shows who you are talking to and for how long:
- Mute and Unmute your microphone.
- Chat opens the customer’s conversation while the call goes on.
- End hangs up; the length of the call is written into the conversation.
- Microphone: choose another one in the middle of the call — MirageCHAT remembers it in this browser.
- You and Customer show how loud each side is. If your microphone sends nothing for 5 seconds, the bar says «No sound from your microphone».
Available for calls
Available for calls, at the bottom of the menu, decides whether this browser rings. Switch it off and calls ring only for your teammates. It is kept for each browser.
Where calls are kept
- In the conversation: each call is one line — incoming, answered with its length and who took it, missed or declined.
Inbox › Calls: today’s numbers and every call, with All, Missed, Incoming and Outgoing.- On your phone: the MirageCHAT app shows a ringing call as a banner — press Answer on the web to take it in the browser — and lists every call in
Menu › Calls.
A call rings for about a minute. If nobody answers, the conversation shows it as missed.
